Why should I talk about me? Sanjay Datt All
that has happened to me, all that I've gone through in life has made me
a very complex person. So, whoever's living with me, my partner will
always have to deal with all the excess baggage that comes with me. It's
not been easy for Rhea.I don't get disappointed when I don't get awards. It really doesn't matter to me at all. I know people feel that 'Oh, he hasn't got an award, so he's saying it doesn't matter'. But it's the truth. My award is when people see my performance and enjoy it. When they approach me and say or feel that I'm a good actor, I'm satisfied. I am not the kind of person to call up editors of magazines and hold special shows and screening for them and say 'look, what a performance I've given'. There are people who do that, I know. But I can't function like that. People have seen what I've done. They should talk about me. Why should I talk about me? Besides, I don't really have time or inclination to buy awards, with favors or otherwise! My parents always taught me to be a nice human being. They have taught me respect people regardless of their stature. That's the reason I'm always courteous and polite to everyone I'm working with.
